Short story: Stephanie Waring and Jorgie Porter show off their shapely pins as they head for a night out in Manchester

They met on the set of Hollyoaks and Jorgie Porter, 26, (Theresa McQueen) and Stephanie Waring, 35, (Cindy Cunningham) are friends both on and off screen.

The girls headed out for a meal at Neighbourhood restaurant along with Louise Cliffe, who starred in Big Brother 12, before heading out for a boogie at Panacea nightclub.

Legs seemed to be the order of the day with both Jorgie and Stephanie stepping out in short black numbers.

Stephanie teamed her short skirt with a frilly white camisole top and blazer, while her pal opted for a long denim shirt under a black cropped leather jacket.

Meanwhile, model Louise Cliffe chose to stand out in a white satin evening dress which showed off her curves and gave a flash of her black lacy underwear.

Seeming thrilled at having a night out from mummy duties, Stephanie tweeted ahead of her night: 'Kids at their dads! I’m off out! .. Happy wedding celebration @sarahBijouClub xxx.'

The Hollyoaks actress hit the town on yet another girls' night, wearing a lace cami dress from Lipsy, which she teamed with peep toe heels and a slouchy cardigan.

While Jorgie Porter seemed to be struggling to get herself ready to go out. She posted a snap of herself in her casual clothes, writing: 'Ooooops I'm sooooo ment to be ready to play out already.' [sic]

No doubt she's thrilled to be back on Hollyoaks though, after several months' absence.

However, the return is set to be bittersweet with two of her fellow McQueens, Gemma Merna (Carmel) and Jennifer Metcalfe (Mercedes) both announcing they are quitting the soap.

But Jorgie did tweet, 'Everyone who's excited about @TwinnieleeMoore follow new mcqueen x x x'

It was announced that Twinnielee would be joining the cast earlier this month.

The British stage actress is best known for her work in the We Will Rock You and Desperately Seeking Susan West End productions.
