After nearly two years of dating, Katie Couric and financier John Molner married in a small ceremony in East Hampton, New York over the weekend.

The pair said their nuptials in front of 50 guests in the backyard of Couric's East Hampton home. Us Magazine wrote that the décor "complimented Couric's garden perfectly." She had beautiful floral centerpieces that included peonies, dahlias, roses, and hydrangeas designed by Elisa Held Events.

Couric wore an ivory beaded and embroidered Chantilly lace halter gown designed by Carmen Marc Valvo. She wore her hair in a chic up-do, with elegant wisps of hair falling around her face. Her husband, meanwhile, looked dapper in a dark blue suit, crisp white shirt, and patterned blue tie.

Among the guests at the ceremony were Couric's daughters Ellie, 22, and Carrie, 17, as well as Molner's children Allie and Henry. The groom's nieces and nephews fulfilled the ring bearer and flower girl roles.

Hark Lane provided the music and Topping Rose House of Bridgehampton provided the food and cake, a strawberry lemon confection with garden strawberry sorbet.

People magazine reported that the bride did not want an extravagant affair; in fact her husband Molner did most of the wedding planning. "I call John Groomzilla!" Couric joked to People. "We're a very modern couple."

She even waited until the week before her wedding to pick out her dress. "We wanted to keep the wedding just very low-key. This is not my first rodeo so I didn't want to go too crazy..." she told People.

This is the second marriage for both Couric and Molner. Congrats to the newlyweds!
